Ben Thompson, DDS

The youngest child of a military family, Ben was raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with a BS in Zoology. Following in his father and sister’s footsteps, Ben received his DDS from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2004. After graduation he joined a thriving practice in Gastonia, North Carolina gaining experience in general dentistry, particularly crown and bridge.

Susan Thompson, DDS

Susan was raised just outside Charlotte in Kings Mountain, North Carolina and graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham. She attended Washington and Lee University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with a BS in Chemistry. She completed her DDS at the UNC School of Dentistry in 2004. Following dental school, Susan worked as an associate in her hometown, gaining experience in general dentistry for adults and children

Gena Hall, DAII

Gena is a native of Durham and attended Jordan High School. She completed her training at the UNC School of Dentistry in 2006. Immediately after graduation, Gena joined the Thompson Family Dentistry team and was employed when the practice opened.

Drs. Ben and Susan met at their dental school interviews and were married in November 2004. After working in separate practices, Ben and Susan decided to open their own. With friends, family, and school ties (particularly NC State) in the area, Raleigh was a natural choice. They recently welcomed their first child, Benjamin Lane Thompson born July 30, 2011.

Lisa Strickland, DAII

Lisa is a native of Columbia, SC and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Commerical Art. After moving to Raleigh, she

completed her dental training at Wake Technical College. Lisa has enjoyed working in the dental field since 2002 and has been with the practice since August 2007.

Martie Bruner, RDH

Martie is a Raleigh native and graduated from East Carolina University in 2002.  After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Promotions, she continued her education at Wake Technical College and obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has been practicing in the Triangle area since 2005 and joined Thompson Family Dentistry in October 2007.

Courtney Triece, RDH

Courtney is from Kannapolis, a small town just outside of Charlotte and graduated from North Carolina State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She worked for several years as a dental assistant in Raleigh before deciding to continue her education. She graduated from Wake Technical College in May 2011 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and joined Thompson Family Dentistry in August 2011.

Rosie Jones, RDH

Rosie was born in Panama and raised in Fayetteville, being from a military family. She graduated from Southview High School and continued her studies at Fayetteville Technical Community College. Rosie obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene in May 2007 and has been practicing hygiene since that time. She joined Thompson Family Dentistry in February 2009.
