We are happy you chose our office!

Our goal is to provide comprehensive dental care in a clean and relaxed setting.

We make every effort to stay on schedule, so we respectfully request that our patients be prompt for their appointments. On your first visit, please complete the appropriate paperwork prior to your appointment time. We will call to confirm one to two days prior to your dental appointment.

If you need to reschedule an appointment, it is necessary to give 24 hours notice (during business hours) so that we may give your appointment to another patient. If notice is not given, you will be subject to a $25 charge.

As a courtesy to our regular patients, we will submit your insurance claims for you. We will make every effort to give you an estimate of your insurance benefits prior to treatment, but realize it is only an estimate. The agreement to pay for dental care is a contract between you and your insurance company. The uncovered portion of you care is due the day services are rendered and any unpaid balances are your responsibility.

For patients without dental insurance, payment is due when services are rendered.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, and cash. In lieu of payment plans, third party financing is available from Care Credit. Our office will be glad to help you with the application process and answer any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:    What type of insurance do you accept?

A:    We will accept any plan that does not assign you to a particular dentist (i.e. DMO). However, N.C.    Healthchoice and Medicaid are not accepted. We are a Delta Dental Premier provider. Please call our office or email if you would like our staff to assist you in obtaining information about your coverage.

Q:    What will my insurance cover?

A:    Most insurance plans cover a percentage of your care up to a maximum dollar amount each year, usually with a small deductible. We will be happy to contact your carrier and obtain this information for you.

Q:    My insurance did not pay as much as was estimated. Why?

A:    Insurance companies base their benefits on their own fee schedule. If our fee is higher than the allowed fee, you are responsible for the difference.

Q:    I have an extensive treatment plan. Do you have a payment plan?

A:    We do not extend in-house financing. However, you may obtain financing through Care Credit. They have several options to make your dental treatment affordable. Also, if your employer offers a Flex plan, pre-tax dollars are a good way to save money on your dental needs.

Q:    Do I have to have dental x-rays taken?

A:    We do a thorough intraoral and extraoral exam at your initial visit and subsequent checkups. However, there are dental problems that cannot be detected through visual exam alone: cavities between teeth or around restorations, tumors or cysts of the jaw, dental abscesses, and periodontal bone defects. Dental radiographs are an invaluable tool to help us keep your mouth healthy and detect problems early. The amount of radiation used for dental x-rays is minimal. We use lead aprons with thyroid collars and digital radiography to further reduce your exposure. See the ADA site for more information: www.ada.org/public/topics/xrays_faq.asp.
